Singapore is located on Latitude 1° 18′ N and Longitude 103° 50′ E, with 31°C to 34°C in average daily temperatures, 80% or higher average daily humidity and 2357.8 mm of average annual rainfall.

 Singapore’s tropical rainforest climate and highly urbanised landscape give rise to climatic conditions that are damaging to organic as well as inorganic materials, challenging those involved in the conservation of artefacts.
