Who are the Conservators?

Heritage Conservation Centre is a State-of-the-Art Centre that is first of its kind in Southeast Asia. Occupying 20,000 sq m in total floor space with 13,000 sq m dedicated as repository space. The Centre has fully reinforced concrete walls, controlled environmental  of 23°C in temperature and a relative humidity between 50% – 60% and a 3-tier air purification system.

Metals corroding, papers turning yellow and brittle, wood drying and splitting, paints cracking – The deterioration of objects and materials in our environment is inevitable.

 For the team at Heritage Conservation Centre (HCC), it is a daily race against time to conserve, and to slow down the deterioration of artefacts under their care.
